The project was divided into three parts: In the phase one we were concerned with mapping of processes, tools, and IT systems according to DevOps methodology. In the phase two we were creating and communicating recommendation for improvement of processes, change of tools and way of their usage, based on results of mapping. In the third phase we keep continuous support during implementation of changes and tools and their integration.
Mapping was realized as series of workshops, where state of used processes and tools were being detected at all parts of DevOps development cycle - Plan, Code, Build, Test, Release, Deploy, Operate, Monitor.
Communication and recommendations were made to measure, based on size of team, used technologies, and comprehensive company culture. We improved workflow, level of automatization, and development processes. Nowadays we help with team organizing and agile coaching.
Continuous support lies in daily work with directors as well as concrete teammates when “living” a new process and configuration of new tools.
